Forex Prop Firm: Trade Forexwith Foxx's Capital

A forex prop firm backs you with trading capital so you can trade currency pairs at a size your own account could never reach, and you hand back a share of the profits instead of risking your savings.

Foxx does this on MetaTrader 5, across the major and minor pairs. What follows is the part most pages skip: the actual conditions that decide whether a forex strategy makes money here.

FOREX PROP FIRM VS BROKER

What a forex prop firm gives you that a broker doesn't

People mix the two up all the time. Your broker holds your own money and sends your trades to the market. A forex prop firm puts up its capital after you prove you can trade, then shares the upside with you.

BROKER

  • You deposit your own funds
  • Your savings sit at risk
  • The broker sends your trades to the market
  • Your account size limits the strategy

FOREX PROP FIRM

  • The firm puts up the trading capital
  • You prove your ability or choose instant access
  • You pay the entry fee
  • The firm shares the profit with you

The practical difference is leverage on your skill. The same strategy that nets a few hundred on a small personal account can earn several thousand on a funded one, because the capital behind each trade is the firm's, not yours. What you pay is the entry fee, nothing more sits at risk.

TRADING CONDITIONS

Foxx forex trading conditions

Capital only works when the execution, risk limits and account terms fit the way you trade. These are the headline conditions for a Foxx forex account.

THE RECURRING COST

The spread is the cost nobody counts

Here's what sinks more funded forex traders than they realize. Every time you enter a trade, you pay the spread, the gap between buy and sell price. On EUR/USD it might be half a pip. Sounds like nothing.

Daily spread cost$50

ONE STANDARD LOT EACH TRADE

  • Approximate pip value$10per pip
  • Trading month20days
  • Monthly spread cost$1,000before performance

THE COST BEFORE THE RESULT

Spread paid each day−$50
Spread paid each month−$1,000

That cost is gone before a single trade is judged.

On a profit target in the low thousands, the spread alone can eat a quarter of it. This is why the pricing model matters as much as the split, and why a tight spread on the pairs you actually trade beats a flashy headline number every time.

RISK BEFORE SIZE

Pairs, leverage and position size

You trade the majors like EUR/USD and GBP/USD, the minors, and switch to the firm's other markets on the same login. Leverage runs up to 1:100 on forex, so a funded account can carry positions far bigger than its balance.

Position sizing priorityProtect the account
  • Up to 1:100 leverage

Available capacity, rather than a position-size target.

  • Size against the daily limit

The job isn't to max leverage out. Set each position so a normal losing run never touches your daily limit.

News policy: the rule that voids winning trades

Currencies lurch around the economic calendar, the US jobs report, inflation data, central bank decisions. These moves can run tens of pips in seconds.

Policy decision

These moves can run tens of pips in seconds, which is exactly why many prop firms fence off a window before and after the release. Trade inside that window when it's restricted and the account can be voided even on a trade that made money. Learn the policy first, then decide whether news trading belongs in your plan at all.

PROTECT THE DRAWDOWN

Drawdown and profit split

Two limits sit over the account at all times, a total loss ceiling and a daily loss cap, and touching either one ends it. Respect both and your share of the profits runs up to 90%, among the highest out there. On a funded forex account, protecting the drawdown comes before chasing the next pip.

ONE ACCOUNT · FOUR MARKETS

Forex-first, but not forex-only

Foxx is built for forex traders, yet it doesn't fence you in. The same account opens indices, metals and crypto on MT5. That flexibility earns its keep when the currency market flatlines, the quiet summer afternoons, the gap between sessions.

FOREX PROP FIRM FAQ

What traders ask before they start

What leverage can I use on forex?

Up to 1:100 on forex at Foxx, enough to hold positions well beyond your balance. Size them against your loss limits rather than the maximum the leverage allows.

Which pairs can I trade?

The majors such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD and USD/JPY, plus minor pairs, alongside indices, metals and crypto on the same funded account.

Can I trade during news events?

That depends on the firm's news policy. Check it before trading the NFP, CPI or FOMC, since a position in a restricted window can void the account even when it wins.

Is the forex account real or simulated?

It's a simulated-capital account, as most prop firm accounts are, with orders filled at real market prices. The payouts on your profits are real.
